Going Green for Great Mother Earth ... Planting Trees with Geronimo Rubio

This Sunday March 18, 2010 the Neighborhood got together to bring Beauty to a Park in Las Fuentes, Zamora Michoacan Mexico where I Geronimo Rubio, Red Sky M, Inty Raimy and Maria De Los Angeles live. And Let me Tell You it was HOT today LOL :)

Brought to us By Dr. Francisco Sevilla Romero via the President of Zamora Michoacan, Rosahilda Avascal. Together with the Combines Efforts of these People and lots of the Neighborhood Children we planted over 30 New Trees in the Park of Stars (Las Fuente de Estrella).

We had a Wonderful time and everyone was Treated to an Ice Cream of their choice by Dr. Francisco Sevilla Romero who Over Saw the work being done.

After they Left Our Fuente (Park) they continued on to the Next Park to plant several More Trees around the Neighborhood.

It was a Great Day and the Work done will encourage all, Especially Our Youth of Today that it is Necessary to do their Part to keep Great Mother Earth Green, Beautiful and Well Nurished so Great Mother Earth will Always Remain to take care of us as Well. A Great Victory for Great Spirit, Great Mother Earth and a Valuable Lesson for all to Learn to Be Love, Spread Love and Always Create New Love for Our Future and the Future of Our Children.

Love Always, Your Sister & Brother in Life, Red Sky M and Geronimo Rubio 3/18/2012

Earth Hour 2012

DARE THE WORLD TO SAVE THE PLANET

We only have one planet.  You can help protect it. Participate in the world’s largest single campaign for the planet: Earth Hour. It starts by turning off your lights for an hour at 8:30 pm on March 31, 2012 in a collective display of commitment to a better future for the planet.  Think what can be achieved when we all come together for a common cause.

Participate in Earth Hour

Pledge your supportSign up to participate and turn off all non-essential lights from 8:30-9:30 pm local time.

• Individual
• Business/organization
• City

Go Beyond the Hour

This Earth Hour we invite you to do more than switch off your lights. We want you to dare the world to save the planet. "I Will If You Will" is a simple promise and a challenge. Dare anyone (your Facebook friends, co-workers, celebrity crushes) to accept your challenge and help protect the Earth or accept the challenge of someone else.

Visit "I Will If You Will" to see all the challenges and create your own.

Why is your participation important?

Our future depends on it.  Across the world, biodiversity and natural habitats are disappearing at a greater rate than ever before.  We are depleting the earth of wild animals, water, wood and other natural resources faster than they can be replenished; polluting and altering natural habitats and changing the entire planet's climate.

Things will only worsen if we continue in the same direction.

Earth Hour raises awareness of sustainability issues.  But there’s more to it than switching off lights for one hour once a year.  It’s about giving people a voice and working together to create a better future for our planet.

What is WWF doing to create a sustainable future?

Transforming business
Tackling climate change
Developing science-based solutions

Earth Hour is so much more than lights out. It’s an invitation to change your world. Will you join us?
